What Is Herozyme®?
Herozyme® is an enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) used to treat people with MPS I
Herozyme® is a cost-effective biosimilar medicine indicated for the treatment of the non-neurological manifestations of MPS I in patients who lack, or have very low levels of, the enzyme α-L-iduronidase. Herozyme® contains laronidase, a lab-made form of the missing enzyme. By replacing this enzyme, Herozyme® helps the body break down and clear excess GAGs more effectively.
