of Urea level in biological fluids such as serum, plasma,
and urine. Urea measurement is accomplished by a colorimetric
method.
Urea in biological fluids reacts with Urease enzyme forming
a colored complex. Reduction of this compound produces
a green colored complex. The optical density of produced
color has a direct relationship with Urea concentration
in the solution.
