A qualitative diagnostic kit for detection of HCV RNA in clinical samples. Specific primers amplify conserved region in HCV genome using nested PCR technique. Using this kit, as low as 100 copy /ml of virus genome can be detected.
Hepatitis C virus detection kit is consisted of three parts: I- Solution for RNA extraction. II- Reagents for cDNA synthesis. III- Reagents for Nested PCR. Ready to use mixes, positive control and other qualified reagents along with an easy to follow protocol are included. Total processing time for 10 clinical samples is 8 hours. Using this kit, viral RNA in different clinical samples like tissue, biopsy, serum or other biological fluids may be detected. This kit may be used in assessment of therapy.
