| Description |
RNX™ is ready to use monophasic solution
suitable for isolation of total RNA. RNX™ solution
is designed for use with cells, tissues, and liquid samples
such as serum and virus preparations. The entire procedure
can be completed in less than one hour. During sample
homogenization or lysis, RNX™ solution maintains
the integrity of the RNA, while disrupting cells and dissolving
cell components. RNA remains exclusively in the aqueous
phase. The RNA is recovered from the aqueous phase by
precipitation with Isopropanol. Total RNA isolated with
RNX™ solution can be used for Northern blot analysis,
Dot-blot hybridization, in vitro translation, RNase protection
assays, RT-PCR, and poly (A)+ selection for subsequent
cDNA synthesis. One milliliter of RNX™ solution is
sufficient for isolating total RNA from 100mg of tissue
or 107 cells. |
