| Description |
Phosphorus Diagnostic Kit is used for measurement
of Phosphorus level in biological fluids such as serum,
plasma, and urine. Phosphorus measurement is accomplished
by a colorimetric method.
The Phosphorus in biological fluids reacts with ammonium
molybdate at acidic pH, forming ammonium phosphomolybdate.
Reduction of this compound produces a blue phosphomolybdenum
complex. The optical density of produced color has a direct
relationship with Phosphorus concentration in the solution.
