DNA Polymerase (recombinant) - MBI Highest Fidelity Thermo-stable Enzyme
Description
This enzyme is ideal choice if you require
high fidelity PCR and primer extension reactions. Highly
thermo-stable Pfu DNA polymerase catalyzes the incorporation
of nucleotides into duplex DNA in the 5'—3' direction
in the presence of Mg2+ at 70-80°C, resulting in blunt-ended
PCR products.
Unlike Taq DNA polymerase, Pfu DNA polymerase exhibits
3'—5'exonuclease activity (proofreading), that enables
the polymerase to correct nucleotide-misincorporation
errors.
Pfu DNA polymerase is purified from an E.coli strain carrying
a plasmid with the cloned gene encoding Pyrococcus furiosus
DNA polymerase.
