| Description |
Plasmids were completely digested
with appropriate restriction endonucleases, phenol extracted,
ethanol precipitated and dissolved in 10mM Tris-HCl (pH
7.6), and 1mM EDTA. Then the digests were mixed. The DNA
ladder yields the following 21 discrete fragments (in
base pairs): 10000, 8000, 6000, 5000, 4000, 3500, 3000,
2500, 2000, 1500, 1200, 1031, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500,
400, 300, 200, 100.
GeneRuler™ DNA Ladder Mix was diluted in a loading
dye to a concentration of 0.1mg/ml. The DNA ladder can
be loaded directly on agarose gel. |

| Note |
· The
bright bands at 3000bp, 2000bp, 1031bp and 500bp serve
as references.
· The DNA ladder is especially
convenient for DNA mapping.
· Apply 1µl
of DNA ladder per 1mm gel lane width.
· Do
not heat before loading. |
