Buserelin

Buserelin acetate is an analogue of Gonadorelin with similar properties. It is used for the suppression of testosterone in the treatment of malignant neoplasms of the prostate; it is also used in the treatment of endometriosis and as an adjunct to ovulation induction with gonatrophins in the treatment of infertility. It has also been used in precocious puberty and has been tried in the treatment of uterine fibroids.
